1) Create an initial list of items in your spreadsheet, and make sure they’re in the order that you want them to appear.
2) Highlight all the items in your list except for the first one.
3) Click on “Insert” and then select “Parent Item.” This will create a new row above your highlighted rows with a dropdown box for adding parents.
4) In the dropdown box, select the parent item that you want to use from your original list. This will add it as a new row below any highlighted rows and above any non-highlighted rows.
5) Repeat steps 2-4 until all items are highlighted and have been added as parents or children of other items on the list.
